my story
In 2006 I began the shift from in front of the camera to behind it. I was drawn to building a stage, inventing space, and shaping ideas that had lived in my head for years. Working with models, assistants, stylists and designers, I learned that creation is most powerful when it’s shared. You can only push a vision so far alone — the creative team around you elevates the work and often brings the surprising result that completes the image.
Leaving Berlin in 2010 led me to new opportunities near Cologne, and two years later I moved to Amsterdam. Over the decade that followed my photography evolved: what started as more experimental and arty slowly shifted towards commercial fashion between 2012 and 2019. Those years taught me discipline, precision and how to balance concept ideas with client needs.
Since 2019 I’ve moved deeper into architectural photography. Today I work closely with an architectural studio and focus on even finer details than before — light, materiality, spatial relationships — all the elements that make a building resonate in a photograph.
My journey has been anything but ordinary. At every step I’ve tried to remain true to my values and make space for thoughtful, lasting work.
